Hi everyone - Erica here.
I have a few things to update everyone on, and I promise to be as brief as possible! First off, I now have the ability to write blog posts. I promise to only use my powers sparingly, and for the betterment of all mankind.
As Kris alluded to in an earlier post, last year was a tough one for us business-wise. I imagine that knowing this in hindsight may have shed some light on an issue that came up, particularly in regards to the pre-order of the Artist Editions of Volume I. Namely, the shipping was terrible. It took forever for things to get where they needed to go, a few orders were lost, etc. The reason for this is because Kris, being the ginormous heart that he is, simply tried to take on too much.
So for the new year I’ve convinced him to let me quit the least profitable of my four jobs and become his full-time shipping maid/ quasi-manager/ hot 1960s secretary. As such, things will be changing around here! It’s going to take me a few weeks to really get everything in order (I spent the last two days just figuring out what exactly I had ahead of me), but henceforth there will be no more waiting a month to receive an order for a product that is in stock, no more sending inquiry e-mails and not hearing back, etc. Orders will be shipped Priority Mail whenever possible (at no extra shipping cost to what you already pay now). I’ll keep everyone informed as to where we are on pre-orders coming in and being filled. We do so appreciate the trust you place in us by ordering pre-orders, and I feel that trust must continually be earned.
In the future, feel free to e-mail any store related questions or otherwise to erica@starslip.com.
The Adoption Kits are starting to head out the door! I convinced Kris to let me put a kind of silly, crafty object in them. And now as retribution I have to actually make them all! We’re having lots of fun coming up with names for all the Jinxlets - no names will be repeated! A big thanks to everyone who ordered a kit. We truly hope you enjoy them.
Any of you who ordered adoption kits along with other items, we’re sending them separately so as to get the adoption kits to you as soon as possible! The valentines should arrive tomorrow or Saturday and head out the door on Monday, so if you were thinking about buying some there’s still time to have them in hand in time to woo your love. We’re also open to taking special requests if you’d like an extra one or two of a certain design. (If you’ve already placed your order and you want a double of one of them or an extra of something, just e-mail me.) The Repulsor shirts have been ordered and should get here soon. And we’ve officially sold out of the Technical Manual! Look for a beefed up Technical Manual 2.0 in the late spring/early summer.
If you have any questions, concerns, thoughts, confessions of lust for my boyfriend, etc., you know where to find me!

Love the new Kris and Erica avatars. They are very sexy.

w00t! I’m a lurker, and I wanted to post something on the big Artist-get-better-post, but now ill do it here.
I think its very cool of you to quit a job and help your boyfriend in this. Not everybody would, I guess.
So kudos to you!
And to Kris: Everything will turn out fine in the pinky happy giggly Endy. And then you guys deserved it and the Pluto spins out ouf his orbit to perform some kind of happy dance. Inspired by Jinxlets.
I really like the comic, keep on doing it.
Good luck with the new responsibilities Erica. We appreciate you keeping our favorite cartoonist in line!
Erica, thanks for helping Kris out. You’re an awesome girlfriend and he’s lucky to have your support/understanding for his passion.
Way to go team! Godspeed to you Kris and Erica.
I want whatever drug Skyrar is taking up there.

As a long-time follower of Kris’ work, I hope things really take off this year (while still being manageable chaos).
Best of luck to all of you, and soooo looking forward to my Jinxlet! I’m very curious as to which one I’ll get-and intrigued by the “no duplicate names” news.
Yay for Erica! Is it any wonder that all successful web cartoonists have women beside them saying things like, “No, no, no, I’ll do that. You just go draw your nice pictures, honey.”
Love your new avatar, Erica. You convinced me to order a Jinxlet of my very own, can’t wait to get it. Good luck to both of you with your Starslipping endeavors; you obviously make a great team!
Also, tell Kris that he’s very cute and there are definitely girls that flirt with him (the DA was SO funny)!

I love the new site!
But where the heck is the Alterverse War?
