LINCOLN SHOT FIRST.

On April 14, 1865, while watching a performance of "Our American Cousin" at Ford's Theater, President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth.

Of course, historians now realize this is only part of the truth.

Due to unprecedented historical research funding, we can now see history the way it should have been. Was Booth acting in self-defense? Or was Lincoln aware of the plot to assassinate him, and quick on the draw? Either way, it can now be said: Lincoln shot first.
